1. Introduction
This privacy policy governs the use of Google Apps Scripts ("Scripts") integrated within our Google Sheets products. We prioritize your privacy and are committed to being transparent about how we use the Scripts and the data they can access.
2. Data Access and Use by Google Apps Scripts
The Scripts incorporated in our Google Sheets products have limited access to user data:
(A) Email Addresses: The only personal data that the Scripts can access is the email address associated with the Google account using the Google Sheets product. We do not collect, store, or share these email addresses outside of the Google Sheets environment.
(B) No Access to Other Personal Data: Our Scripts do not have the capability to access, display, or utilize any other personal information such as but not limited to names, phone numbers, or addresses.
3. Why We Access Email Addresses
Access to the user's email address allows the Scripts to:
(A) Facilitate user-specific functionality within the Google Sheets product.
(B) Authenticate the legitimacy and log of access requests to certain features or functionalities.
We reiterate that the email addresses accessed by the Scripts will not be used for marketing purposes, shared with third-party entities, or stored outside the Google Sheets environment.
4. Data Security
While the Scripts can access the user's email address, the actual data is processed and stored securely within the Google ecosystem. Once ownership of a product is transferred to its rightful owner, they become responsible for ensuring secure access to their Google Sheet products which may hold email addresses.
5. Third-Party Access
We do not grant third-party applications or services access to the Scripts integrated in our Google Sheets products. Thus, no third-party can retrieve or access the email addresses or any other data through our Scripts. Please refer to section four (4) for more information.
6. User Consent
By using our Google Sheets products integrated with our Scripts, users acknowledge that they have read and understood this Privacy Policy. They grant their consent for the limited use of their email address as described herein.
7. Updates to This Privacy Policy
We may occasionally update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. If we make significant changes, we will provide notice within our Google Sheets products or through other communication methods.
